The 2014 Exhibition of Healing & Complementary Therapies was a great success with record amount of visitors, speakers as well as exhibitors.

The one hundred goody bags went before the doors were officially opened at 11 a.m. and the 500 event programmes were gone before 12 noon.  The feedback I have had from exhibitors as well as the public has been fantastic and I am now busy preparing for 2015’s events.

I have received many emails as has the school saying how good it was and that is great news for our exhibitors and speakers.  Mike, who done the Gong Bath thought he had well over 30 at his talk.

Social Media activity after the event was also very positive, great reviews were going around on twitter and facebook and I know many exhibitors have had new clients, training enquiries and sales.  I have had many enquiries as to when the next one will be.

People were surprised by the number of healers as well as holistic therapists from Shropshire and Powys there were.  That is what it is all about.

I have to thank all the speakers, exhibitors, visitors and sponsors as without them, it would not have been possible and I also have to thank our volunteers who helped make it such a success by welcoming everyone who arrived and ensuring everyone knew where the halls and talks were being held. They also manned the kitchen, pouring hundreds of cups of teas.

We gave one of our volunteers a good donation for her forthcoming High Wire activity to raise funds for cancer charity and local dog rescue centre.

The charities Breakthrough Cancer and Healing Hands Network both got enquiries.
