Mike Barron will be teaching the first part of The College Of Sound Healing, Practitioner Training Course at Hyssington Village Hall, Churchstoke, Powys. The core curriculum comprises five weekend workshops as follows;
AN INTRODUCTION TO SOUND HEALING WITH THE VOICE.
Finding your voice, clearing blockages from the voice, creating pure tone, using harmonics, experience a sound healing session, chanting, balancing the chakras with vowel sounds, using sound for meditation.
THE THEORY AND PRACTICE OF SOUND HEALING.
Giving a sound healing treatment, learning to use the voice for diagnosis, releasing physical pain through sound, using tuning forks, psychic protection, working with healing energy.
MUSIC AS MEDICINE.
Understanding the healing process and blocks to healing, the healing power of music, the healing power of musical intervals, learning and using the Indian scale to balance the chakras.
SOUND HEALING THROUGH THE CHAKRAS.
Understanding the chakras and the five elements, conducting a supervised sound healing treatment, learn how to sound the Sanskrit bija mantras, balancing the chakras with the Sanskrit bija mantras.
Course review to date, using sound healing with colour, using percussive sounds in a treatment, distant healing with sound, sounding with your client, certification.
The College Of Sound Healing is a non profit making organisation, registered with the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and a member of The Sound Therapy Association.
