Quest events from Bishops Castle
February 15th The Enneagram : for understanding self and others, with Dave Corbet, who will lead us through some practical exercises using the Enneagram of human personality.
Dave trained with Helen Palmer and uses the enneagram in his work with teams in large organisations. The word means a graph of nine types. Each of the nine Enneagram personality types has a distinct internal narrative that forms a coping strategy for relating to the world.
By understanding these narratives we can understand others and ourselves more deeply and find our own unique path to psychological and spiritual growth. This will be Dave’s 4th presentation at Quest: he also talked about the Dark Night of the Soul, Mindfulness and connecting with animals
March 21st Exploring the meaning of Home
What does home mean to you? A sense of culture and identity, a property investment, family, or just a place to lay your head? How do we choose our houses/homes and how does this change over our lifetime? And what about those with no settled home – the voluntary wanderers or the millions of homeless and exiled people across the world? Is home a location, a state of mind, or simply where the heart is? We offer a discussion led by Marion Lane (at Rosa’s request). Please bring your ideas and inspirations. By donation
