Mindfulness (MBSR Stress Reduction) Shrewsbury

The 8 week MBSR course is a tried and tested secular method, allowing you to discover the benefits of developing a mindfulness practice. The course is suitable for adults over 18 who wish to develop new ways of responding to stress and developing well-being.

When? 1.30-3.30pm Friday 13th, 20th, 27th January, 3rd, 10th February, 10am-3pm Friday 17th February (silent retreat so longer time), 1.30-3.30pm Friday 24th February, 3rd, 10th March.

Where? Lovely venue in Shrewsbury at Castlefields New Buddhist Centre, Queen St, Shrewsbury SY1 2JU. (Please note: the MBSR course is secular.)

Who for? This course is for adults who would like to learn mindfulness to manage life’s ups and downs more effectively.

How to apply Please email Helen Marsh on helen@shropshiremindfulness.co.uk and she will send you more details and a registration form to complete and return. The completed form is a way of checking this is the right course for you at this time.

Commitment Participants commit to attending at least 6 out of the 8 weeks plus the retreat day. You will be expected to engage in up to 45 minutes a day of mindful practice throughout the duration of the course. This is essential to establish your mindfulness practice.

Cost There is a £50 deposit followed by £140 making the total cost £190 to include the full 8 weeks training plus a silent retreat day (including lunch) and all resources, course booklet and audio recordings.
