Creative Drumming, Rhythm & Chanting   £25 Peacehaven Healing Centre, Berriew Julia Fox & June Meagher

We are looking forward to this Sunday’s (3rd April) Drumming, Rhythm & Chanting workshop at Peacehaven Healing Centre, in Berriew near Welshpool with Julia Fox and June Meagher. It will be such a beautiful day. Learn how to drum with Julia Fox or come with your own Drum if you have one. Julia studied with African drumming teachers Iya Sako, Sidiki Dembele and Seckou Keita. Julia also studied with Satch Norton and John Paul Deer and with Arthur Hull an internationally renowned percussionist. He is seen by many as the person who conceived and developed the idea of the facilitated community drum circle. He now travels the world training drum circle facilitators. Julia is passionate about sound and in particular the drum. Learn and share sacred chants and chants from around the world. 11 am – 4 pm please bring indoor slippers and a packed lunch. Refreshments provided £25 for the day (Concessionary rates available) If weather is fine we can go outside. Here is a wee taste of one of the chants being done on the day.
