Alternatives 4 Change conference – Ludlow

‘Alternatives 4 Change’ is a conference to be held at the newly refurbished Ludlow Mascall Centre on Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November.

The event will be great fun as well as thought provoking. It will empower participants to find and fulfil new goals for personal development in a fast changing world.

The line-up of 3-hour workshops will be held by experienced practitioners of national and international repute to encourage participants to find ways to make positive lifestyle choices:
• Jon Critoph on ‘Human Design’ exploring how we can make the most of what we are
• Alec Jones, Taiji and Qigong Master leading ‘Qigong for Balance’
• Susan Elizabeth Hale on ‘Sing for the Trees: Enchanting the Land’
• Emma Gathergood of the Wrekin Trust will help us to focus on ‘The Way Ahead’ as individuals and as a community.

On Saturday evening Chrys Blanchard and the Resonant Collective will delight us with an amazing symphony of harmonic sound from gongs and singing bowls, to flutes and more, with beautiful colours and light. Participants will be invited to join in with playing the instruments to build the whole enchanting sound.

The event is the first of its kind in Ludlow, and is being run by the Ludlow Wisdom Sharing Group and co-ordinated by Pam Thompson. Pam says ‘I had the idea for this event when I was on holiday. I meet many people in the Marches who want to set their own aspirations and goals in life, and they understand the importance of developing spiritually. This event will give people the opportunity to do this in a friendly and enjoyable way. The practitioners are happy to give their time and expertise generously. I know that it will be great fun!’
