What is the Metamorphic Technique?
The Metamorphic Technique is a unique approach to handling personal issues, whether physical, mental or emotional, influencing how you respond to everyday life events.

It is simple yet profound. As old patterns of limitation or uncertainty loosen, we can access and realise more of our potential.

In practice it is a gentle touch to feet, hands and head in a relaxed and safe environment and can be received by all adults and children. It can also be offered to animals.

…a gentle touch

The History of the Metamorphic Technique

In the 1950s Robert St. John, a Naturapath, noticed that symptoms pronounced ‘cured’, often returned in later months.  Wanting to find a more lasting state of wellbeing led his awareness to the ideas of energy pathways or meridians, which  he explored through Reflexology to Metamorphosis.
Gaston St. Pierre,  following his own search, was inspired by Robert St John’s work, which all played its part in Gaston’s discovery of a unique practice – the Metamorphic Technique. He used the word ‘Technique’ (rather than, for example,  a ‘therapy’) defining it as ‘an approach that perfects itself in practice’ – the practice of detachment.
