Autism and Homeopathy  – what can be achieved? Mike Andrews

November 17^th From both personal experience and having talked to many homeopaths worldwide

Mike will share what he believes to be the potential benefit of homeopathic

treatment to children on the autism spectrum. The talk will be of interest

to health care professionals, teachers, parents and all those who come into

contact with children and adults with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and anyone

who is interested in alternative methods of healing – Autism and Homeopathy

Mike will be sharing the results of his recently published book “Homeopathy

and Autism Spectrum Disorder: a Guide for Practitioners and Parents.”

 The book refers to the clinical experiences of homeopaths worldwide working with ASD and the clinical outcomes that homeopaths are achieving in practice.

Mike will explain the homeopathic approach to working with Autism and

Asperger’s so as to make this treatment approach more understandable.

Mike Andrews DSH RSHom has been in full time homeopathic practice since

1990.He has taught at many UK homeopathic colleges: London College of

Classical Homeopathy, Purton House School of Homeopathy and on the BSc

(Hons) Health Sciences: Homeopathy module at the University of Westminster.

He practiced in West Sussex for many years, but now works in London and

Ludlow.

Little Buddha  (PG) is a 1993 Italian–French–British drama film directed by Bernardo Bertolucci. It is a delightful and moving interface between Tibetan Buddhism and the west.

Little Buddha (Miramax), a story about a boy’s journey of discovery, a lama’s search for his beloved teacher, and the legend of Prince Siddhartha and his path to enlightenment. This exquisitely beautiful film with its stunning visual sequences and its story unfolding within a story is a well-realized teaching parable about Buddhism.

In a monastery in Bhutan, Lama Norbu (Ying Ruocheng), a Tibetan monk, learns that some of his students in Seattle have found a boy who could be a reincarnation of Lama Dorje, a great teacher who died nine years earlier. He leaves for America accompanied by another monk. Dean and Lisa live in a large house he has built overlooking Seattle.  When Lama Norbu arrives at their door with the news that their son Jesse (Alex Wiesendanger) may be the reincarnation of his dead master, they are both stunned and mystified.
