June Meagher to hold meditation at Winstanton MBS

Come along and experience the gentleness that is your own awareness.   June Meagher of AAMARHealing, Healers & Therapists News and Peacehaven Healing Centre will be holding a mindfulness meditation and introduction to what it is and how to embody this in your every day life so as to not get caught up in the emotional patterns that can inhibit your growth and cripple your existence. If you feel stressed, carried away with too many thoughts, why not join us for a peaceful day of healing and complementary therapies at this wonderful event hosted by Lynda Buchanan .

We all go through life not really noticing what we are doing, how we are breathing, what we are
eating and oblivious to our immediate surroundings. In this Introduction, we will explore mindfulness,
what it means, how we can achieve it and how it will help us in our daily lives. Sometimes we have to stop and appreciate what is happening now, this minute.

What does it mean to be mindful? Essentially, mindfulness means to be present, and in the moment.
It is important that we remind ourselves of this simple fact. All too often we can lose the
true essence of mindfulness by over-complicating things or putting all our emphasis on the act of
meditation alone. Mindfulness is not something we leave at the chair, but something we can
carry through our everyday lives. If we can apply mindfulness on the chair, then why not while
brushing our teeth, catching up with an old friend, or even waiting for our morning train? All these moments present an opportunity for us to apply mindfulness, and live our lives more fully, in the present moment.

This is a day of Complementary Therapies to try as well as everything to do with health and wellness.
Treatments will be £5 for 15 mins and £10 for 30 mins

Entry will be £2 including refreshments.
