Our next Gong Intensive workshop of 2019 will be held on the weekend of September  21st & 22nd. If you can’t make that one, we have another on November 16th & 17th, which will be the last one of the year. At present there are still some places available for September, and a good number for November. I usually run four Gong Intensives through out the year, which cover all the basics to get you started. The Gong Intensives are held in the same idyllic rural workshop space in east Devon, near Honiton.

The two-day Gong Intensive is an immersion in the Gong teachings for a whole weekend. This weekend Intensive is open to complete beginners and those who already play the gong a little. Our work over the two days will be to cover all the basic gong teachings and will include both theoretical and practical work. You will learn techniques for playing the gong, and have the opportunity try these out and practise on the gongs provided. This is an ideal workshop for those who want to kick-start their gong experience with expert tuition in the powerful gong space! You do not need to be musically trained to play the gong – it is open to all. There is no need to buy your own gong either until you have been to the workshop, where there will be plenty of opportunity to sample the many different high quality gongs which will be provided for your use, and full advice will be given on obtaining your own gong from suppliers we recommend.

We will also talk about some of the other instruments used in our gong work, and students will learn how to give a simple seated gongbath. Over the two days participants will have ample opportunity to connect with this powerful healing instrument.
My two gong books and other useful items from the Healing Sound Shop will be available to buy at this workshop, which counts towards CPD and is also a College of Sound Healing extra module for those doing the College Sound Healing training.
