This weekly Mindful Movement class will give you an opportunity to come and practice and share some core elements of LifeForce Qigong (Energy Exercise), which is like an easy form of Tai Chi.
These practices can be used to develop and strengthen body, mind and spirit through the elements of movement, focus and energy exchange. It is a suitable practice for all ages and types of people and is a key factor in the Integral Life Force Qigong concept practiced by Centre Founder Ben Calder.
Ben will be sharing foundation practices from the System of LifeForce Qigong, which aim to dissolve tensions and restrictions in the body and improve our LifeForce Energy.
Ben has been involved in many of these practices for over 25yrs and studied and explored this area of practice from the medical/health side to the martial side and will be aiming to strike a balance somewhere in the middle of these, with the main emphasis being on the health practice side. There is now considerable evidence building up to show that Qigong and Tai Chi practices have significant health benefits in a number of areas of disease prevention and recovery.
The class will run from 7.30-8.30 most weeks. Entry is open to all levels of experience and is FREE, but all donations are gratefully accepted towards room rental and development projects for the Centre and to sustain the continuation of group.
